Pri-Ru-Ta RC&D Councils, Inc. exists to serve as a nonprofit for resource conservation and development efforts in Northwestern Wisconsin to improve partner’s access to technical and financial resources in the areas of agriculture, economic development and natural resources protection.
The Pri-Ru-Ta RC&D Council was established in 1964. The Council is made up of one representative from each of the 10 supporting counties in Northwest Wisconsin. There is also a close relationship between Pri-Ru-Ta and local Land Conservation offices, the DNR, USDA, UW-EX and others. These working relationships allow us to partner with other agencies that have the knowledge and resources to get a project done.
